👨👩👧👦 We are a family friendly site and respectfully ask that everyone enjoys quiet time after 11pm.
🐶 We are dog friendly, but do please keep your dog on a lead (you need to know where to clean up after them, and it is not fair to disturb other dogs).
🚐 We have a single track drive, so please check the coast is clear before you set off from either direction. There is a passing place at the top of the field and near Pier Cottage.
📒 Office open 9am – 10am for check out on departure days.
💷 Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash or cheque. Deposits are non refundable and not transferable to future dates. Payment is due in full at the end of your holiday.
❌ No day visitors on site, there are so many beautiful places you can meet and enjoy locally, be it a walk/cafe/pub.
Regarding bookings…
The best time to make a booking is just under a year in advance when pitches first become available. We don’t book over a year ahead. Guests can re-book their pitch for the same week the following year as they leave, it’s at this point that a pitch could become available should they not re-book.
We take bookings for any arrangement of nights (minimum 2 nights) during the month of March.
From April onwards we take weekly bookings for the rest of the year, these bookings run from Saturday – Saturday.
We never guarantee specific pitches. Pitches are allocated on arrival and displayed in the office window. There are quite a few factors to take into consideration regarding pitch allocation and we tend to move long standing guests into lakeside pitches as they become available.
Please email us to make a booking, we are not able to take bookings over the phone.
Regarding deposits…
Please be mindful when it comes to deposits. By nature the deposit secures the date and also prevents other people booking. We can turn away many people during this time and it’s often difficult for potential guests to get work leave when it isn’t planned in advance. Most of our bookings are made just under a year ahead. We are not a big commercial site, just a small family run business, so each booking is more impactful.
Regarding pitch allocation…
We aim to please everyone, but reserve the right to alter pitch allocation. Without being able to take maximum bookings we would not exist as a business. Thank you for your understanding.
